We are pleased to announce availability of 8
scholarships for motivated and competent Rwandan students to cover the tuition
fully or partially for the 3-year
Honors Bachelor’s degree in Peacebuilding and Development (See the programme description https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/13pGh47eOxTAth9c6u2RbrFAkVengtX53?usp=sharing). The
selected applicant will be requested to join the programme from the new
academic year that will start in mid-September, 2024.
The recipient of a full tuition scholarship will be
selected based both on merit, which is assessed through a written and oral exam, and on financial
need that is supported by compelling evidence. They will be exempted
from payment of annual registration and tuition fees for 3 years as well as internships and
dissertation fees. Living costs in Huye must be covered by the student or
his/her own sponsor rather than PIASS. Estimated minimum on-campus living costs
for one academic year are approximately RWF 500,000 for a single student.
The recipient of a partial tuition scholarship will be selected based
solely on merit that is assessed through a written and oral exam. They will be
exempted from payment of 50% of annual registration and tuition fees for 3
years. The remaining 50% of the fees (RWF 222,500 for the 1st year,
RWF 235,000 for the 2nd year and RWF 295,000 for the 3rd year)
and living costs in Huye (minimum RWF 500,000/year)
