Since 2004, the four Research4Life programmes – Research in Health (HINARI), Research in Agriculture (AGORA), Research in the Environment (OARE) and Research for Development and Innovation (ARDI), Research in Law or Legal (GOALI) – have given people at more than 6000 institutions in over 100 countries and territories in the developing world free or low cost access to peer-reviewed international scientific journals, books and databases provided by the world’s leading science publishers.
Up to 100.000 resources available through Research4Life
Research4Life now provides access to up to 100.000 resources! The amount of scholarly and professional content available has grown to a up to 22,500 peer-reviewed journals, up to 80,000 academic books and up to 120 other resources, such as databases and reference works.
Research4Life is focusing on subject areas that have not featured strongly in the collections, such as technology, engineering, chemistry and mathematics. They offer new types of resources, extending the range of tools and reference materials which can add value to the core collection of primary research publication
