Masters
A. Masters of Theology in Community Care and Development ,Masters of Theology in Christian Ethics and Leadership
Programme Eligibility
The programmes will be attended by students who successfully completed a Bachelor’s Programme with honours or its equivalent in humanities and social sciences. Candidates must show the ability to study effectively in English. However, the writing-up and defense of a Master ‘Thesis might be conducted either in English or French according to the candidate’s choice.
The programmes are taught within two academic years for full-time students.
Mode of Attendance
Many applicants find it difficult and even impossible for them to get each year about 60 days off from their services to stay on campus for face to face teaching and learning activities as was our practice. We are pleased to announce to the public that a new mode of attendance will be applied from the new academic year (2020-2021) onwards to address this challenge.
- At the beginning of each semester: 12 day stay on campus (classes)
- Plus 2 weekends per month for 6 months (classes)
- Plus 2 weekends per months for 4 months (workshops and exams)
The detailed timetable will be issued by July 30.
Stay on campus (First semester): November 2 –14, 2020
Teaching Philosophy
Commitment to excellence: It is believed that strong teaching habits require practice, time and coaching.
Learning by doing: Students construct their own knowledge, based on their own experiences and the way they interact with the context they operate in. Consequently, field works and industrial attachment play a leading role in our teaching and learning practices.
