Welcome to our Masters Programs of Theology at PIASS: September intake 2020
Welcome to our Masters Programs of Theology at the Protestant Institute of Arts and Social Sciences (PIASS): September intake
Due to the current situation of COVID-19 PIASS has decided to cancel the March intake for the ongoing academic year. We are now pleased to invite you to join us and prepare for September intake, academic year 2020-2021. Our two programs – the Masters of Theology in Christian Ethics and Leadership and the Masters of Theology in Community Care and Development address crucial concerns whose national, regional and international scope is indubitable.
Both programs comply with the requirements of the Rwandan Higher Education Council and are fully accredited by the Ministry of Education. Each program counts 180 credits to be completed in two years divided into four semesters. For further information, you should open the links below:

Application deadlines: The deadline for receiving applications for admission, September intake, is:
- International students: September 15, 2020
- Rwandan students: October 15, 2020
Applications in prints can be deposited at our offices at Huye and Karongi campuses. Scanned files can be forwarded to our electronic addresses (firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com) from now onwards. Online applications will be received from next June 15!!!!
Mode of attendance: Many applicants find it difficult and even impossible for them to get each year about 60 days off from their services to stay on campus for face to face teaching and learning activities as was our practice. We are pleased to announce to the public that a new mode of attendance will be applied from the new academic year (2020-2021) onwards to address this challenge.
- At the beginning of each semester: 12 day stay on campus (classes)
- 2 weekends per month for 6 months (classes)
- 2 weekends per months for 4 months (workshops and exams)
The detailed timetable will be issued by July 30:
Stay on campus (First semester): November 2 –14, 2020
We warmly welcome you at the Protestant Institute of Arts and Social Sciences.
